Terms of Use
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Pukki when you use the Pukki app. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what Pukki keeps and why.
1. Who we are
Pukki is provided by Veronika Zelinková, Czech Republic (“Pukki”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@pukki.ai.
2. Who can use Pukki
Pukki accounts are for parents and legal guardians. To create an account you must be at least 18 years old and have parental responsibility for the children you set Pukki up for.
Pukki is made for children aged 3 to 12. Children use Pukki through their parent’s account, on a parent’s phone in Kid mode or on a child’s phone paired with a code. They never have an account of their own. You are responsible for how the children in your family use Pukki, and for keeping your account and Kid mode PIN to yourself.
3. What Pukki is — and what it isn’t
A child asks a question out loud, and Pukki answers in a few short, spoken sentences made for their age. Parents can see short summaries of what their children were curious about, with ideas to explore together.
- Answers are written by AI and can be wrong. Pukki is made to explain the world simply. It is not a source of medical, legal, safety or other professional advice, and it is not a replacement for a grown-up.
- Pukki is not an AI friend. It answers a question and then gets out of the way. Personal or difficult questions are handed back to a grown-up.
- Pukki needs an internet connection, a microphone and a supported iPhone. Some features depend on the device and its language settings.
4. Your account
One account covers one family. You sign in with Apple, Google or your email address. Your plan covers your phone and up to four children’s phones.
Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Settings › Account. This removes your family from Pukki’s servers, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Pukki is a paid service. Plans are sold through Apple’s App Store as auto-renewable subscriptions, and Apple handles the payment.
- Plans. A monthly and a yearly Family plan. The price, in your currency, is shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy.
- Free trial. Where offered, the yearly plan starts with a free trial. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
- A complimentary pass. We may offer a parent a complimentary pass: three days of Pukki with nothing to pay, no payment details and nothing that renews. It is not a purchase and not a free trial, there is one for a family, and it starts when you start it. When it ends, Pukki needs a plan.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before it ends. Your Apple account is charged within 24 hours before renewal.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone’s Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pukki until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. This does not affect your rights under the law of the country you live in.
- Price changes. If a price changes, Apple tells you in advance and, where the law requires, asks for your agreement before you are charged the new price.
If you bought Pukki from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. If it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.
6. Fair use and daily limits
To keep Pukki fast and affordable for every family, each plan includes a generous daily allowance: up to 150 questions a day for the whole family, and a smaller number per phone. Pukki shows parents how many questions have been used, and tells a child kindly when it needs a rest. The allowance resets each day. We may briefly slow things down if an unusual number of questions arrive at once.
7. Using Pukki well
Please don’t:
- use Pukki for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- try to get around the daily limits, the Kid mode lock or the subscription;
- copy, resell, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app or its servers, or access them by automated means, except where the law allows it;
- use Pukki’s answers to build a competing service or to train AI models.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why.
8. Ownership
Pukki — the app, the character, its design and its content — belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your family, for as long as you have an account and follow these terms. You may keep and share the answers Pukki gives your family for personal, non-commercial use.
9. Changes to Pukki and to these terms
We keep improving Pukki, so features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.
10. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Pukki available, safe and accurate, but we can’t promise that it will always be available or that every answer will be right. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. As a consumer you keep all the rights the law gives you, including your statutory rights if the service is faulty.
Otherwise, and as far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pukki in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
If something goes wrong, please write to support@pukki.ai first — we want to fix it. Consumers in the Czech Republic can also use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz).
